The Spirit of the Lord GOD is upon me; because the LORD hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek. This verse from Isaiah 61:1 speaks of the calling and anointing that comes from God to fulfill a specific purpose. The Spirit of the Lord empowers individuals to share the good news, especially with the humble and meek, and to bring hope to those in need. Birthdays provide a perfect time to reflect on the calling God has placed on our lives. Each of us has a purpose, and through the anointing of the Holy Spirit, we are equipped to fulfill it. Are we walking in the calling God has given us? Are we using our gifts and talents to spread the good news and serve others? The anointing is not just for preachers or leaders; it is for every believer who is willing to listen to God’s call and step out in faith. Let us embrace our calling, empowered by His Spirit, and share His love with those around us.

1 Corinthians 7:17

1 Thessalonians 5:24
Faithful is he that calleth you, who also will do it.
