The angel’s question to the women—“Why seek ye the living among the dead?”—serves as a reminder that Jesus is not found among the dead, but among the living. This question invites us to rethink where we search for meaning, purpose, and fulfillment. All too often, we look to things that are temporary and fleeting, things that ultimately cannot satisfy. The resurrection, however, redirects our gaze to the risen Savior, who offers life and purpose that cannot be taken away. He is alive today, and His life is the source of all that is good and eternal. The invitation is clear: we are to seek Him above all else, for in Him we find the fullness of life, joy, and peace. The resurrection calls us to fix our eyes on the living Christ, not on the empty pursuits of this world.
Matthew 28:6

Romans 1:4

Matthew 28:5
The angel answered and said unto the women, Fear not ye: for I know that ye seek Jesus, which was crucified.
Mark 16:4
And when they looked, they saw that the stone was rolled away: for it was very great.
