The angel’s question to the women—“Why seek ye the living among the dead?”—serves as a reminder that Jesus is not found among the dead, but among the living. He is alive today, and His life is the source of all that is good and eternal. The invitation is clear: we are to seek Him above all else, for in Him we find the fullness of life, joy, and peace. The resurrection calls us to fix our eyes on the living Christ, not on the empty pursuits of this world.
