The Bible’s message on forgiveness is clear: we are to forgive others as God has forgiven us, freely and without hesitation. By doing so, we experience God's grace in our lives and reflect His love to those around us. Forgiving others may seem difficult, especially when we feel wronged or hurt, but it is an act of obedience that brings peace and healing. Forgiveness is a choice, not a feeling, and it is empowered by God’s Spirit. Through forgiveness, we release others from the debt they owe us and trust God to bring justice in His perfect timing. In doing so, we open the door to peace in our hearts and in our relationships. Forgiving others is a powerful act that aligns us with God's will and creates a space for His love to transform our hearts. This act of grace demonstrates humility and leads to reconciliation and restoration in relationships.
Matthew 6:12
And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors.
Micah 7:18
Who is a God like unto thee, that pardoneth iniquity, and passeth by the transgression of the remnant of his heritage? he retaineth not his anger for ever, because he delighteth in mercy.
Matthew 6:15
But if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.
Psalms 57:1
Be merciful unto me, O God, be merciful unto me, for my soul trusteth in thee.
