10 mins a day, closer to God.
The Bible warns us against the dangers of indulgence, particularly in areas such as drunkenness and gluttony. These behaviors, often linked with excess, can lead to self-destruction and separation from God’s will. To live in alignment with God’s purpose, we are called to exercise discipline and moderation. Our bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, and we are to honor God by maintaining control over our desires. Drunkenness, as described in Scripture, leads to debauchery and disrupts the peace and joy that God desires for us. Instead, we are called to be filled with the Spirit, which empowers us to live a life of self-control and righteousness. By surrendering to the Spirit, we gain the strength to resist the temptations of the flesh and make choices that honor God. This is a call to live with purpose, exercising discernment and self-discipline in all aspects of our lives, whether in our eating, drinking, or other habits.

Romans 13:13
Let us walk honestly, as in the day; not in rioting and drunkenness, not in chambering and wantonness, not in strife and envying.
