A person who engages in deceit and lies has no place in God’s house. Deceit is an abomination to God because it undermines His nature, which is truth. As believers, we are expected to reflect God’s character in our interactions with others. This means that we must be truthful in all things and avoid dishonesty, as it grieves the heart of God.
